keto egg stuffed avocado recipe


hi and welcome back to another video on how to eat keto now when i started keto I had a very hard problem i don't like the taste of cold avocado avocado is one of the best foods that you can eat while you're on the keto diet so i came up with this little recipe and I hope you're gonna enjoy it so let's get started you don't need a whole lot of ingredients first off you need one medium-sized to large avocado to medium eggs some sea salt ground pepper and some shredded cheese this can be used as either an add-on to your breakfast or just a light snack it's very quick to do I can make this in under 10 minutes very easily so the first thing you're going to want to do is take your avocado and you're going to slice it lengthwise in half right down to the pit in the middle of the fruit please remember to be very careful while you're doing this that you don't slice into your hand or chop off a finger you want to open up the fruit and then remove the core from the center after you successfully remove the pit grab yourself one of your medium eggs and with the knife gently tuck the top so you're going to slice a small hole along the top edge of your egg again please be careful that you're not going to cut yourself once you have the whole just simply pop off the top and then begin to pour the egg into the center where the cork has been removed as it's not keto now this is going to get a little bit messy because the eggs are a little bit larger than will fit inside the avocado don't worry about this because the egg white is actually the least favorable part in the keto diet that we're looking for we want to have the avocado and we want to have the egg yolk because it carries all the fat nutrition that we want and eliminates most of the carbs it's funny to think back that now we're looking at yolks and in the past how many times where people telling you to remove the yolks and eat only the egg whites that's the benefit of the keto diet so now take your sea salt and sprinkle quite generously as well as your ground black pepper you want to have as much extra added flavor as possible well at least that's what i like to do there now that they're seasoned they're about ready for the oven and remember to season to your taste this is to happen to be the way that I prefer to use them in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit cook for about five to seven minutes and they should come out just about like this where there's still a little bit gooey in the center now take your shredded cheese and add on top make it as generous as much as you can hold if you like cheese is always good cheeses our friend on keto diet and remember you can use any type of cheese that you prefer put it back in the oven and cook 1 minute or two your taste if you like a little gooey or put it in for 30 seconds and now when it comes out of the oven it's going to look something like this and for a person like myself who does not like avocado this completely change the way I feel about them eating this will let you a total of five grams of carbs 18 grams of fat and 14 grams of protein which is just perfect to keep you all in ketosis well i hope you like this recipe and if you did please give it a thumbs up and please click subscribe because i'll be posting a ton more videos in the near future hope to see you soon.
